I just received my comp copies of SKETCH Magazine #38 from our friends at Blue Line Pro (where I buy most of my art supplies!), and I’ve got to say that the article I did for them “GHOST ZERO: Mood with Markers” looks fantastic! There’s lots of nifty looking articles, including one from pulp-master Ron Fortier. Interesting stuff on publishing too! Anyway, you might want to pick one up.
Incidently, Bill Nichols, who edits the magazine is an alumn from my college, and while he was here, lived on the same street I live on. Funny old world, ain’t it?)
Also, I just finished up the “Crossroads of Solomon Strang” short! Look for it in Moonstone books soon!

I’m actually starting to letter the page now. I have to get a copy of that magazine.
That’s *awesome*.
And the world is even smaller if you think I recently wanted to try Blue Line Pro Vellum boards for drawing Sgt0 pages with them
Thanks, guys! I’d be curious to hear what kind of boards you’re working on, Simone!
I guess I’ll be making a trip to the comic shop. I’m assuming the article is a sort of tutorial on the technique you use to get your awesome greys?
Scott, that it is! I tried to be clear and entertaining, so maybe it won’t be an awful read!)
