Eddie Quick = Shia LaBeouf?

Anthony Schiavino, letterer/designer of the GHOST ZERO comic, sent me an email link to a couple of pictures from the new Indiana Jones film (a must see!) that featured Shia LaBeouf.  He suggested that Shia would be a great candidate to play Eddie.  Check out these photos:

I’ve got to say that Shia does have that “everyman” kind of quality that I think fits Eddie quite nicely, and after seeing him in the Transformers movie, I think he’s certainly got the talent to pull it off.

Similarly, I think Alan Rickman would make a very nice Charles Pallentine.  See for yourself:

(That drawing of Charles is a peek from Page 11, by the way!)

So, what say you?  Any better candidates?  I guess all I have to do now is to make a movie sometime next year and we’ll be set.  Yessir.

Maybe I’d better just keep writing the comic for now.)

    Yep, Eddie definitely = Shia.

And yeah, Alan Rickman could very well = Charles Palentine (though my money is still on Jeremy Irons). Rickman’s a good actor, through, so he could definitely pull it off.

Oh, and that glimpse of Charles = GAH!! I’ll be seeing that eye when I close my eyes tonight, :-)

Shia all the way. Matter of fact let’s hope he searches for himself and comes across this site or somebody he knows tells him. I’d love to see Dreamworks make a movie of Ghost Zero, but done right as an old style black and white drama.

Now as far as Palentine I don’t know. Having just seen Eragon, and not liking it at all, with Irons I can see him playing the part. But I can also see Rickman playing him as well. But I’m not completely sold on either. I will look into this further.

Whoever plays Palentine, he has to be scary… that’s definitely a pre-requisite, LOL
